Bored?
Not on our
watch.

Spotlight drops you into the spots your feed keeps hinting at. Nearby, on-vibe, and ready right now — so you can stop scrolling and start showing up.

Free in your browser. No login gymnastics. Parents somehow approve.

We use your location once to find spots nearby — never saved, never sold, no account needed. How that works

How we handle your info

No one sees where you are

We never share your location with other users. There are no other users to share it with.

Used once, then gone

Your location finds nearby spots in that moment. We don't store it or build a history of you.

Delete everything, anytime

Saved spots live on your own phone. Clear them in one tap and nothing's left.

Never sold, ever

No ad trackers, no data brokers, no "partners". If that ever changes, we'd tell you first.

Want the longer version? Read the safety & privacy page — it's short, we promise.

Find my spot

Answer 5 quick things. Get the spot.

Step 1 / 5

01 — Location

Where are you starting from?

Use my location

Fastest. Used once, never saved.

Type it in instead

Address, neighbourhood, city, postcode or landmark.

The playbook

Three taps to somewhere better.

01

Drop a pin

We use where you are, not where you say you are. Real places, real close.

02

Pick a vibe

Chill, chaotic, sugar-crash, main-character energy — we speak all of them.

03

Just go

One tap for directions. Screenshots the group chat for you. You're welcome.

Pick your flavor

Every vibe. Zero "idk, you pick".

Tell Spotlight what today feels like. It matches you to spots the algorithm can't guess but your best friend would.

01

Sugar rush

Dessert crawls, bubble tea, arcades

02

Golden hour

Rooftops, parks, that one bridge

03

Rainy day

Bookshops, thrift, indie cinemas

04

First date

Cute, cheap, low-risk of silence

05

Adrenaline

Skate, climb, trampoline, laser tag

06

Study spill-out

Late cafés with real wifi

07

Group of 6+

Bowling, karaoke, escape rooms

08

Just wander

Random walks, mystery spots

Built for

The friend everyone texts "you pick".

You already know the vibe. You just don't have a map of every cool corner in a 10-minute radius memorized. That's our job. You do the "everyone in twenty" text.

Spotlight is free and it already works right here in your browser — no download, no account. The phone app is next.

Want the app the second it drops?

iOS and Android are in the works. Leave your email and you'll be first through the door.

One email when the app lands. No spam, no reselling — ever.

Questions, answered

The stuff you (and your parents) want to know.

Is it really free?

Yep. Free to use in your browser, no card, no trial countdown, no "premium vibes" paywall. If we ever add paid extras, the core finder stays free.

What location data do you collect and how is it used?

Either your device's rough coordinates (only if you tap allow) or whatever you type in the box. We use it once, in that moment, to look up places near you. We don't save it, log it, or link it to you — and you can skip the pop-up entirely and just type your neighbourhood.

Is this matching me with other people, or just places?

Places only. Always. There are no profiles, no DMs, no strangers, no friend requests. Nobody can find you, message you, or see that you're using Spotlight.

What's the minimum age?

13+. Under 13, you'll need a parent or guardian using it with you. We don't ask for an account, so please be honest with yourself here.

How do parents stay informed?

Two easy moves: share the safety page with them, and use the share-your-picks link to send exactly where you're heading before you leave. Everything Spotlight suggests is a public place — no private addresses, ever.

Can I delete my data?

There's barely any to delete, which is the point. Saved spots live in your own browser — hit "Clear all" on the saved tab and they're gone. On the waitlist? Email us and we'll remove you, no follow-up questions.

Still stuck? Email us — a real human replies.
